About the book:

At the edge of touch, memory, and history, how does the human condition change when we can no longer fully perceive the systems entangled with our lives? This question unfolds across the three fictions gathered in this book.

The first story, Untitled Future: The Story of Evoluon, reassesses what it means to imagine and build the future through the aesthetic obsolescence of architecture. The second story, The Vessel of Randomness, drifts through uncertainty and anxiety, examining the fragile human balance between control and probability. Lastly, A Memoir of Touch traces the intimate residues left on bodies, screens, and interfaces, where touch becomes an evolutionary form of mediation within a triangular ecology of human, nonhuman, and computational media.

Written across the fields of design research and speculative fiction, this collection moves beyond predetermined ideas of “the future,” treating it instead as a reflective surface through which possible worlds may be sensed.
